President of the CETA Foundation and current professional football player, Stevie “Shakespeare” Baggs make plays both on and off the field. With a non-profit foundation focusing on empowering youth and adults through measures of independence, Baggs is a certified advocate for change.

CETA, which stands for Creating Empowerment Through Autonomy, is a 501(c) 3 federal tax-exempt organization and leading advocacy proponent of community awareness, neighborhood preparedness and individual self-sufficiency for those in the state of Georgia and beyond. Through informational programs, educational workshops, seminars and interactive activities, the CETA Foundation provides individuals, neighborhoods and communities with available resources that lead to self-empowerment, which aids in self-respect and self-worth thus being a contributing member of society.
Founded in 2004, Baggs launched the organization alongside his mother Lola Robinson, who worked with the Orange County Youth and Family Services, in Orlando Florida. According to Baggs, his mother's dedication to her own philanthropic endeavors coupled with her ability to reach the unreachable is the driving force behind the success of the organization. For Baggs however, helping others isn't just a option, it's also a mandate. Says Baggs, "I have a passion to give back knowledge and I believe that knowledge is not knowledge unless you share it with someone else, so that it may assist in one becoming more independent (autonomy). Furthermore, philanthropy is monument to me, for I understand that in life we do not because we know not. So I am compelled to share the knowledge about the game of life and football to the youth, so that they may understand that being an athlete or entertainer is not the only means to success."

Moving in the continued wave of his philanthropic endeavors, Baggs successfully executed the first ever Stevie Baggs Professional Football Camp and Life skills Clinic through his foundation in April 2009 and partnered with celebrities and entertainers on foundation initiatives regarding HIV/AIDS Awareness and Youth Empowerment. Such supporters included the famed Tyler Perry's "House of Payne" actress, Demetria McKinney, who collaborated with the CETA Foundation on joint projects in effort to promote the foundation's initiatives to a broader audience.
